sw2002On this minisode:

We look at the impact that the Star Wars prequels had on us, both culturally and personally. With Attack of the Clones, we learn a lot about story– but maybe not the things we’d hope to. George Lucas continues to lead by an example of how not to do things. Regardless, the film is hugely popular and has influenced a generation.

Alexis is spot on about Natalie Portman’s performance. It might be just as bad as good ole Hayden C. Case in point the bizzarre moment when she falls of the transport into the dune, rolls down hill, lays there like she broke something, and then just pops up strong and stern. Um, what? Is she an NFL player faking the injury to stop the clock? So cardboard.

These movies are like highlight reels of awesome action with bad commentary in between.
